Supply Chain Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Supply Chain Consultant.

Working within our clients’ organisations, you will define, manage and implement supply chain optimisation projects and work on projects to improve the performance of the function.

You will provide consultancy services to our industrial clients, particularly in the area of procurement:

• Estimating the quantities of products to be ordered based on stock levels, production forecasts and supplier delivery times.
• Sending and monitoring orders to suppliers.
• Determine order requirements to anticipate the risk of stock-outs.
• Manage safety stock and fair stock levels.
• Measure the performance of the suppliers in your portfolio by monitoring indicators (service rate, on-time delivery, contractual deadlines) and manage action plans in the event of deviations.

REQUIRED PROFILE

With a 5 year degree from an engineering or business school or equivalent specialising in supply chain, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in procurement.

You will have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills and be able to work independently.

You have a good knowledge of standard IT tools (at least Office suite and ERP) and are comfortable with data.

You are also familiar with planning, scheduling and MRP.

Finally, you speak English.
