Industrialisation diagnosis for a new market
Safety Tech wanted to enter the commercial vehicle market with its new type of camera-based rear-view mirror. In this context, the management asked Axsant to carry out a diagnosis of its industrialisation process in order to adapt this type of product manufacturing process to a new market, with a new customer and a 20-fold increase in annual production rates.

- Make a diagnosis of the main difficulties and their causes through interviews and documents analysis.
- Carry out an impact and maturity study.
- Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the processes.
- Define priority actions.
- Evaluate the energy required, the expected results and the expected take-up rate for these priority actions.
- Identify the root causes of dysfunction.

- Present a maturity grid for the industrialisation process.
- Identify root causes of failure, including product development and project management.
- Propose a prioritised action plan based on the ERA rating.
- Set up a support system to help the company transform towards its new industrial goals, from product compliance to the supply chain.
