Flow optimisation at Preciculture

PRECICULTURE is a subsidiary of EXEL Industries, the world leader in precision spraying for agriculture and industry.

Optimise production flows and capitalise on expertise

PRECICTURE aims to standardise and optimise assembly processes and production flows (physical and IT) by finalising the reference systems for flagship products in collaboration with the teams (design office, industrial methods, production, etc.). The aim is to increase the reliability of processes, capitalise on know-how and improve the efficiency of processes through management tools.

Our mission

  • Industrialise a new product range in the pre-production phase.
  • Manage Quality and Production functions.
  • Formalise reference documents for several product ranges.
  • Analyse the production flow and strengthen its efficiency through improvement projects.
  • Standardise the production flow following feedback from the action plan.
  • Manage the production flow (synchronisation of production workshops) with performance monitoring.

Results achieved

  • Completion of the pre-series product for presentation at SIMA.
  • Implementation of reference systems for several product ranges, shared between the various production and support departments.
  • Diagnosis: Modelling of the production flow (VSM ‘as is’), list of flow irritants (Mudas) + VSM ‘to be’.
  • Installation of sequencers and buffers (Heijunka) in all workshops + training and support to users.
  • Creation of a factory OBEYA room (sequencers, SQDCP, KPI, action monitoring) + daily animation of the top 5, top 15 and top 30.
  • Production management – 7 production workshops (120 people): Flow management, PDP, target monitoring, etc.
