Arquus is a major player in the French defence industrial and technological base, specialising in wheeled armoured vehicles and their weapon systems. It was recently acquired by the Belgian industrial group John Cockerill.

The Marolles en Hurepoix site is experiencing problems with stock levels and excessive lead times, due to production transfers between sites and poor performance in meeting delivery deadlines.
