Supplier Quality Management Transition
In the long-term absence of the Manager of the Supplier Quality Assurance team, the QHSE Director of Trigano Véhicules De Loisir (TVDL), asked Axsant to provide hybrid support for the team, to help it gain perspective on its day-to-day operations, to provide it with methodological tools and operational support on a case-by-case basis.
Our mission
- Diagnose the situation, its major difficulties and their causes.
- Define the type of support required: Help, Specify, Audit.
- Help: occasionally relieve SQA team members on a case-by-case basis.
- Specify: create missing standards (STG, STP, supplier quality audit).
- Audit: initiate the application of new standards by auditing suppliers as part of a collaborative approach.
Results achieved
- 4 SQA technicians supported on a daily basis.
- 1 model standard General Technical Specification STG.
- 1 standard model of STP Particular Technical Specification.
- 1 standard supplier quality audit template.
- Validation of these 3 new standards with the Engineering Department and Purchasing.
- Initialization with 7 STPs and 2 supplier audits.
- With this initialization, demonstration of the benefits of the culture of anticipation, which is more profitable than the culture of reaction to observed non-quality.
