The emergence a few years ago of the concept of “Suppliers Development” is part of the acceptance of the growing role played by suppliers in a company’s performance.
As a pioneer in this collaborative approach, Axsant supports purchaser and suppliers in building a relationship based on mutual, long-term gains.
Initially focused on Quality, this approach now extends to all aspects of the Client-Supplier relationship: collaborative work on costs, supply reliability, development project management, environmental impact, management and control of information flows.
Axsant also brings its expertise to the creation and development of the activity at the client’s premises: structuring, key processes, indicators and dashboards, team skills and training, and carrying out the activity with expert resources.
Axsant provides three types of support :
Support in structuring and developing the activity at the client’s site (structuring, training, definition and implementation of processes and dashboards).
Individual collaborative projects or improvement campaigns. Based on the implementation of industrial best practices, the Axsant teams support the customer and supplier in tangibly improving results and embedding best practices.
Assumption of responsibility for the Supplier Development department for the overall performance of the activity. In this mission, Axsant acts as the ‘industrial arm’ of the client’s Purchasing or Production department to implement the defined ‘Supplier Development’ roadmap.
