Supplier Capacity Audit

ORIL, the Servier group's historic site, is sourcing one of its major active ingredients, Hesperidin, from China. A of stock-out risk has been identified. Volumes are also increasing, and forecasts exceed the capacities of current suppliers. ORIL needed to source new suppliers in India, and asked AXSANT to help them with their capacity audit.

Our mission

  • Analyze process flow in detail.
  • Identify bottlenecks in active ingredient production.
  • Draw up improvement scenarios and discuss them with the subcontractor.
  • Build an overview of the organization and the quality system.

Results achieved

  • Presentation of a report on the 2 raw material sources to ORIL’s executive management.
  • Classification of their strengths and weaknesses, possible capacity increases, and recommendations for achieving production targets.
