Implementation of a new W.M.S.
ORIL is the main active ingredients manufacturing unit of the Servier Group in France. In order to overcome the obsolescence of its historical IT system servers, a project was launched in 2022 to implement a new WMS / MES combination. In this industrial environment, with its complex flows, the stakes are high in terms of quality and traceability requirements. Axsant is involved in the WMS project, in the implementation phase, as a Project Management Assistant (PMA) under the responsibility of the Business Project Manager. The chosen WMS is the solution published by Körber Supply Chain.
Our mission

- Ensuring that the solution developed complies with ORIL’s quality, security and operational requirements.
- Organising Key Users and users training.
- Organising and validating the documentation (guides, operational procedures) associated with the system.
- Organising Key User and user training.
- Provide operational support on the ground at system start-up.
Results achieved
- Project delivered in 2 years.
- 356 patches prioritised, tested and validated to ensure compliance of the solution adapted by the publisher to the ORIL environment.
- 51 new operational procedures written and validated.
- Starting and substitute operators trained in the new processes within 15 days.
- Successful launch, on schedule and without production delays.
